How To Fix A Cubee Bluetooth Bi Ped Speaker Robot Leg Fault Part 1 Leg Teardown

Whilst repairing my MADWaves MADPlayer in a previous #fixed1t video https://youtu.be/ndONVI4K2T0 I used this Cubee Bluetooth speaker robot for sound so he could dance around the the music I was creating on the madplayer generative music gadget. Cubee was jumping about so much he jumped off the table several times, and each time I retrieved him I realised his right leg was damaged, and in the final jump (perhaps to escape my music) he broke the servo and gears in his right leg. As with all of these robots, getting into the to perform any type of repair is tricky as they are not meant to be repaired. Part 1 : Accessing The Right Leg Servo Please don't forget to give a Thumbs Up, Share and most importantly Subscribe to this fixed1t channel by clicking the subscribe button to be informed about Part 2 - Replacing The Servo video Malcolm aka  @FIXED1T  #fixed1tAIrobots

Retro Madwaves Madplayer Regenerative Music Player Refurbished Part 2 ...

The MADWaves Madplayer is an amazing Regenerative Music Composing device, enabling anybody, including those with no musical skill and ability to make great music with the handheld devise that looks remarkably like a modern Sony Playstation 4 bluetooth controller. In my first Madplayer Refurbishment video I took and unusable Madplayer covered in horrible sticky gloop and completely removed the sticky mess leaving it pretty much pristine. In this Part 2 I need to test it out to ensure none of the mess has leaking into the controls either before or during the cleaning process. I'll take you through the regenerative styles on the madplayer and then compose a NEW piece of Trance music from scratch with the mad player. I'm afraid that due to the setup I used (due to it being an old device) and the bluetooth dancing robot speaker (added for fun) its not always easy to hear exactly what I am saying, but as you can see my hands, the screen and hear and see the music being composed it shouldn't detract too much from the FUN. If you get a chance to pick up a second user Madplayer I would recommend you do so, its great to use and produces so good and hilarious music In a huge number of styles, and I will be composing a song in every style over this series. Its worth watching it all for the sad silicon death that occurs reinforcing the notion a musician must die for their art LOL Malcolm aka  @FIXED1T  #fixed1tTECHNICALreviews

The Birth Of fixed1t Music Technology And Compositions

Hi,

this is a new fixed1t blog where I explain the development and technology behind my musical compositions which often back my fixed1t videos.

I've been a music technologist and composer for a long time, ever since I started building my first synthesiser in 1978 after failing to fix Ken Bradshaw's (CIRCUS - Lead Guitarist) MXR Guitar Fuzz Box foot pedal in 1978 when I was lead singer, flutist and song writer with my band CIRCUS.

I have built, owned and used a range of kit.  Most purchases were cheap broken beyond repair items I subsequently repaired.  I also had a range of new or second hand working gear, purchased with the proceeds of the repairs I sold on eBay.

Recently I've had a number of questions from people about the sounds and patches I've used and how I put them together with additional original sounds and music to create my compositions.

The most recent has been about one of my tracks called "Flight Of Fancy" a viewer heard on my video:

i-Cybie Robot Dog Playing And Showing Off Its Tricks Cute And Funny

This used a patch on the Fantastic YAMAHA DJX mkII as demonstrated by my good friend Ollikins:

In this blog I will also include the videos I have created about some of the kit I have owned and tips and software I have developed.  I also plan to do a whole series of Analogue and digital tutorials.

Here are the links to the ones I have already made for you to be going on with:
